Hi guys.When I had Win 2000 Proff. Installed on my machine 3DSMax 4 work fine. When I upgraded to Win XP Proff., I had to download the CDilla upgrade from the internet and 3DS Max 4 work fine as well.Due to a technical problem I had to reformat my harddisk. I did this and had a fresh installation of Win XP Proff. Made on the machine.
(no upgrade from win 2000 this time).Ever since then when I'm authorising 3DS Max 4 I get the message 'a previous licence has been detected on this machine' and it will not authorize the program. I've reformatted the machine about 4 times since with the same message.What am I doing wrong?Dave.
